myroster.care: rostering and a carer app, built from a real care business

The problem
HG Care supports families across several regions, with carers out on visits every day. Office staff needed a reliable way to plan weekly visit schedules, and carers needed their rota on their phones rather than on paper or in group messages.
It also had to carry the provider's own brand, rather than feeling like a third-party tool. What began as HG Care's staff portal has since become myroster.care, a rostering product in its own right.
What we built
- A branded, multi-tenant web app, deployed on each provider's own subdomain
- Weekly visit scheduling for each client, with cover, one-off and cancelled visits clearly marked
- A carer mobile app showing upcoming visits, to-dos, timesheets and messages
- Staff records kept alongside the rota, with training handled by My Care Academy
